Mundane Morsel

Sometimes life is just daily

February 14, 2015

Olive juice

by Megan Stocker in Between Meals, Essentials, Mindful Morsel

That's what my brother and I liked to mouth to passersby on road trips.

The funniest times being from the rear-facing jump seats of my grandparents' station wagon when we then had to maintain eye contact with our targets.

Today, let's say the real deal.

 Out loud.

Not just to those who make our hearts flutter.

But to those whose hearts are patient with us.

To those with whom we never lose faith.

To those with whom we never keep score.

To those whose kindness we never forsake.

To those who let us overflow and then fill us back up again.

I...love...you!
