Mundane Morsel

Sometimes life is just daily

by Megan Stocker in Between Meals, Mindless Morsel

Renowned New Yorker writer, A.J. Liebling, was said to have used bacon as a bookmark.

Not as enticing, but much less greasy is Blankie Monkey--whom my early riser hastily grabbed the other morning when the clock struck the hour that she is now permitted to come into my bed to read.

Judging by the grin on his face, I think he's quite pleased with his new assignment.
